About Chaplain Chats and Coffee

Who We Are

ChaplainChatsAndCoffee is about allowing individuals and groups to discuss and explore spiritual matters without being judged or criticized. We are not a counseling organization. Our purpose is to facilitate open discussion, free of charge..

We Believe:

... in the universality of humanity. As humans we have an innate need to connect with others. This is not a coincidence. There is a Universal/Cosmic Power that links us to one another. Some may call it God, or a Greater Power, while others may approach it in more scientific terms. But we cannot ignore the fact that without connectedness, life can be pretty lonely and miserable.

"I unite my heart with everyone who desires good for this world."

  Joyce Rupp

Who This is Available To

We are available to YOU as an individual or to your group.  Our only requirements are that when you participate, it is with an open mind, an open heart, and without judgment. Also, no proselytizing. One's spiritual journey is very personal. There should be no pressure regarding one's chosen path.

Who To Contact

(Rev/Chaplain) Ed Bernard is ordained clergy and a Certified Chaplain. He has served as Assoc. Pastor at several Boston area churches and as Health Care Chaplain in Massachusetts and Arizona. Over the past 10 years, Ed has led theological discussions, bible study sessions, grief/bereavement groups, and interfaith dialogue. He prefers "community work" to being in the pulpit and believes our social and religious environment sometimes causes us to deny the "goodness" within ourselves and in others.
